D&D seemed to completely miss the point of the series - shocking, I know - and thought that the game of thrones was important and the focus. Yeah, it's weird how they thought the point of the series was the political intrigue that's been the focus of every book that's actually been released, and not the magical fantasy stuff that's going to be important any day now.
