NERF THIS!


Started taking photos of my local indoor flat track roller derby team in the spring of 2023. I've gotten better at shot framing and cropping, not to mention improving working the exposures. For their indoor games at a basketball gym, shooting 1/250" at f2.8 and 2000 ISO seems to get right on proper exposure, or maybe a touch under, depends on the focal length. Outdoor practice is a headache because their place is not well lit, I just give up once the sun goes down.

My shots aren't as fancy as the pro photog who comes out rocking the Canon full-frame DSLR and a bunch of remote flash equipment, but the team really likes them, and that's all that matters.
