Does anybody here know of some software that will allow me to make rapid screen captures? Something that will automatically take a screenshot every second or half second.

CaptainCaveman posted:QuickTime player (at least in Lion) will let you record a movie of the screen. Is there a reason you specifically need screenshots instead of that? I'm making animated gifs and this would save me the step of exporting the frames. And I don't have to worry about compression. I'm still on the lookout for some software that will give me more control, but I'm using a terminal command that will do the job right now.
