Neither of the up-to-date methods recognise the serial number of the macbook pro I bought on the 19th of June. Anyone else having the same issue?

Has anyone noticed that mission control sometimes takes a second or two to launch? Sometimes I perform the gesture and there is a noticible lag and jerkiness in the animation. This is on a month old i7 mbp. I have also noticed that when switching between spaces using gestures, if you reach the last space and try to scroll passed so that it does the "rebound" animation, all the items that were on the desktop disappear and don't reappear until you switch spaces again. I really quite like lion, but there are a few issues which bother me, mainly to do with responsiveness and lag which worry me. If they are just bugs which will be sorted in time its fine but I'd really rather not have to reinstall from scratch.
