My 2011 MBA magsafe won't charge my drat laptop. It usually takes a while, if I'm lucky, to turn green. Is this a sign from the apple gods to buy a rMBP?

I'm going to ride my 2011 13in MBA until the 14in MiniLED are out. Wish me luck. I only had to replaced my logic board and battery pack once.

I just want to say coming from a mid 2011 base MBA 13 to the base M3 Pro 14 is amazing. It's like night and day in terms of speed, screen quality and battery life.

I had 4gb of ram and I did a battery swap maybe 4-5 years ago? I only did it cause I was given a defunct MBA, so I salvaged the battery. But yea, my old mba is still fuctional but it was time for an upgrade.

I think most modern day electronics are well built to avoid necessitating a grounding plug but idk at the end of the day. Could it be your surge protector giving issues? I believe some electric currents are "dirty" in the sense that they could affect other nearby devices with their fluctuations in current. I use an isolating surge protector for all of my devices. ISOBAR or PANAMAX are my go to.
