Look, I hate to be this person, but, uh, there is a huge part of our country where people with little education are falling rear end-backwards into money, you know.

My little brother (he's 21) dropped out of a trade school 2 years ago and has been selling BASIL in southern Ontario since then and just got shipped off to cap fracking wells and is really enjoying it. It doesn't sound like it's much better than Nunavut or places like that, but it is something.

My fiance got an offer to go be an engineer out there for some insane amount of money and we both objected because of, you know, the environmental catastrophe that the Tar Sands cause (and we're really lucky to have jobs in Toronto), but it may work for you, especially if you're willing to do everything you've listed.

I read novels and nonfiction all day and I'm relatively content with that. It's just infuriating whenever I have to write a memo or email, find out where a building is, get a phone number or hours for a government office, or want to watch a movie or do pretty much anything that isn't read a book or exercise (like sort out my wedding in August ). I get it done, sure, it's just really not ideal or so much work that it's not worth it.

Not to mention the fact that I like to keep track of my exercise, calories, and budget and I've just got an LG flip phone so I feel like this stuff is pretty much out of control beyond trying not to buy things and trying not to eat too much or overdo exercise. Combine that with my... personality, and the fact that everything seems totally out of control in all other facets of my life, and I spend my evenings trying really hard not to flip out and make it in one piece to the next day without drinking my face off or something.

A laptop would probably help to give me a sense of control over these things.

1) Library card. You had a lot of um diverse interests, if I recall? Growing "plants" and self composting and whatever? Get into that. Take out every book you can and cultivate a competency in your interest that will serve you later. Also, libraries usually have computers?

2) You actually don't need a phone to track things. Honest to God old fashioned paper college ruled notebooks work just as well and you can enter the data later when you have a more steady income.

Seriously, though, you can get the Nexus 4 and a light, portable, Netbook (that will let you write your term papers, assignments, etc) for significantly less that just the cost of a MBA (which you'd still have to carry around external storage for).

It'll stop tuyop, once you get okay with yourself. I've been kind of a poo poo to you but I've struggled with anxiety and panic disorders myself, in the same way you've struggled with your conditions. I think the two are very closely correlated. I think if you can start valuing yourself enough to deal with some of your psychological issues, you'll see this subside.
