As far as fuzzed-out, effect-driven guitar noise is concerned, I've always enjoyed Sonic Youth's track Theresa's Sound World, from Dirty. It might not be quite the same sound, but, to me, it delivers the same feel. That golden 90's alternative feel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zOMNmuQj_s
