I absolutely adore THOR, so I'd love it if there were some other podcast doing that sort of comprehensive, in-depth, chronological history. Not a podcast as such, but there are series of lectures from The Teaching Company that fit your criteria perfectly. Almost all of their history series are incredibly fascinating, and got me through hundreds of hours of boring warehouse work back in the days before podcasts were really a thing. They are horrendously expensive though, so unless you have a whole lot of money laying around this might not be too helpful...
