We'd have to gather an extra 1000 dollars to pay some guy at the Chevy dealership to put on a fake act of awarding it to him on orders from corporate, otherwise he would probably find the degree of fan outreach creepy. Maybe not, and maybe he wouldn't like it either way, but I would find it hard to turn down a gleaming truck when presented with it.

I think he was just talking about how it's okay for Young Thug or whoever to wear t-shirts with the confederate flag on them. Young people and other people who don't have any experience with people who hold that symbol as anything serious probably have different attitudes about it than people from the south/rural areas. It was, but something about how people talk on the internet when they know their message will be accepted and is common to their community (eg reddit dweebs or 4chan psychos) makes it less interesting and funny than when, for example, some clueless person makes a lone post on Craigslist about someone they met in their city like 10 years ago and asks if they are reading it. Or it might be that I already got my laughs when I first heard about those people, while the Craigslist posts were brand new to me.
