I actually really enjoy JJGO. I try not to mention it here since most people hate it but it just works for me. I think one of the reasons I like it is that I never here them fight with each other and it makes me feel bad when I here friends fight. Same reason I like UYD they only really got into a fight once. JJGO for me is like a great come down show after a really heavy WTF.

Yeah, don't worry; there are a few of us who love both. I'm not going to argue with people's opinions on Jesse; I still find him delightful. TSOYA may be an 'interesting guests only' download for me these days, but it's still almost a decade of quasi-regular listening.

Yeah, looking at the larger one linked from the above, I think it is seth (which would make the most sense, of course), only with his facial features mapped onto a much different head. The hat and glasses threw me, but the face shape makes it barely recognizable.

I was going to point out, regarding the hosed up audio, that ipods and most stereos can be put in mono mode. When I went to enable that on mine this morning, it was already on, from last time some podcast was like this, probably a month or two ago. Don't forget to revert your audio settings, kids.

Well, searching for the incident turns up this Houston Chronicle article from 5/8/08 and others from the next few days. I don't see anything in the wiki for the following few episodes (116->), but it's presumably around that time.

What does Jonathan have to do with it? The writer/director/editor is credited in the description, and it's uploaded under his name.

Google the director's name, there's his twitter. Scroll back to the upload date, see that he tweeted about it a few times. "new (old) video" and "standard def, y'all" implies that it was shot years ago.

Not exactly a mystery for the ages, guys.

Go for it. I've always found the live eps a little meh for podcast listening, but the energy there in the theater is great. I traveled the same distance for the first live show, and didn't regret it at all (of course, it was pretty easy to make a sweet weekend of it in nyc).
