Yeah you did it!
Oh man, how did I miss this entire subforum! I posted these way back in the day in the old Who Else Podcasts? thread back in Creative Convention, so I'll throw them in here too! I've got three shows to share with you...

First up:

The Bloody Good Horror Podcast!
Website|ITunes

Genre: Entertainment/Movies/Horror
Release Schedule: Weekly

Bloody Good Horror is a weekly podcast featuring in-depth reviews of current releases and cult classic horror flicks.

Recent Episodes:
Episode 208: Kill List
Episode 207: Dark Shadows
Episode 206: The Loved Ones

Next up...

1951 Down Place

Website|RSS|iTunes

Genre: Entertainment/Movies/Horror....Specifically Hammer Horror!
Release Schedule: Monthly

1951 Down Place is your home for monthly Hammer discussion! Love Hammer films? So do wee! My co-hosts Scott and Derek meet up once a month to go into deep nerd mode on our Hammer flick of the month. We cover horror, sci-fi, noir and every thing else this classic studio provides!

While we've only been around for nine months now, we were nominated for a Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Award this year which made our day.

Recent Episodes:
Episode 9: The Old Dark House
Episode 8: The Quatermass Xperiment
Episode 7: Paranoiac

And finally....

The Dad and his Weird Friends Book Club

Website|iTunes

You'll notice these are the same links for the BGH Podcast... That's because we run it as a BGH Spinoff on the same feed!

Genre: Books/Genre Fiction
Release Schedule: Semi Monthly

The Dad and his Weird Friends Book Club stems from my love of reading and the fact that I wanted book podcast that celebrated genre fiction more so that reviewed it. The Weird Friends part comes from the fact that every episode, I have a different guest that joins me to discuss whatever book we happen to be talking about at the time! (These guests generally consist of other podcasters, bloggers, etc. and I'm always insist on said guests promoting their own stuff, so if you love to read and want to sit in, email me! casey@bloodygoodhorror.com! ) This show is made specifically for science fiction, fantasy, horror, urban fantasy and those style books!

Due to 'Real Life' getting in the way lately, it's been about two months since my last episode. I'm getting ready to gear back up though this week.

Recent Episodes:

Episode 10 - Seven Princes by John R. Fultz
[url=http://www.bloodygoodhorror.com/bgh/podcasts/03/19/2012/dad-and-his-weird-friends-episode-9-a-princess-of-mars]Episode 9 - A Princess of Mars/The Gods of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs

Okay, enough from me, time to check out some of these other podcasts!

Re:Fresh 29 - CHEWYOURFACE

This week on the show: We’ll talk about this exceptionally strange week, including a naked guy in Miami chewing another mans face off, a new movie about a demonic box of porn, body parts that have been mailed all over Canada, and whatever the gently caress a “play-a-grill” is. We’ll also talk about drugs like bath salts, Spice & K-2, and everyone’s favorite, weed. Even our own president spent his younger days “choomin’ it up”, so what gives with the feds raiding medical marijuana clinics? We have a theory…All this and more on Re:Fresh!

Brand new music from Nacho PIcasso and ShowYouSuck and featured music from Flatbush ZOMBiES, P.O.S. and KnowMads.

EPISODE AND DRINKING GAME HERE

Did you like The Fast and the Furious, but felt that there were too many car chases? Are you a fan of Ryan Gosling, but not when he talks too much? Do you wish that Michael Mann would put just a little more mood and 80s-infused music into his gritty crime thrillers? If the answer to those questions is ‘yes,’ Clint and Jared (and special guest Jeremy) have got quite a film for you this week – 2011′s Drive, starring Ryan Gosling and directed by Danish auteur Nicholas Winding Refn! This film costars Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston, Ron Perlman, and a bravuro turn against type from Albert Brooks. In Drive, the unnamed main character (played by Gosling) navigates the gritty criminal underworld of Los Angeles with nothing but his wits, a hammer, and what seems to be debilitating autism. Check out our review and drinking game here!

Drive is also available on Netflix streaming!

Re:Fresh 30 - Pro-to-the-metheus

Wow, 30 episodes already. We’ve got a great show for you this week. The zombie apocalypse continues now complete with Reagan blood, we’ll discuss the most extreme anti-abortion bill in the nation that’s being rushed through the Michigan state government, someones mama who was so fat she exploded, the Unabomber sends his regards to Harvard, and an app that allows New York state residents capture and report the NYPD’s aggressive “stop-and-frisk” policy. The entire Re:Fresh crew rolled out last night to see Prometheus and we’re going to talk about it in the last segment of the show, so let’s get this out of the way now: SPOILER ALERT! But if you’ve already seem Prometheus then you’ll want to stick around for that discussion.

Music from Nacho Picasso, Flatbush ZOMBiES, Doomtree, Bwan, AWAR and MilesJones.

Genre: Gaming
Released: Weekly, Thursdays
Goon: Dohaeris
Description: Two dudes talk about video games with a focus on PC gaming news, ranging from major releases to tiny indie games.

A friend and I from a Vent server started this podcast. I had the original desire to start one based on enjoying a bunch of podcasts myself and being dissatisfied with the gaming podcasts I listened to in the past outright lying or making things up about games. Also, I'm a substitute teacher and multiple classes of students have informed me that I need to be on the radio, so that was weird/inspiring.

Also, we're giving away some games on Steam to people who can figure out the games the soundclips in our intro music are from. Details for that are in the latest episode, 7. No one has figured it out yet. We may have made it a tad too hard, given how few listeners we have. But I'm SniperGuy, so let me know what you think.

Audio quality is pretty good I think, considering the hardware and software we're using. Keagle is using some weird new fancy mic, I'm using a rock band USB mic and we're using TotalRecorder and Skype to do the actual recording. Then I mix it with Audacity.

Oh, we also did a power hour on YouTube while playing Hardcore Diablo 3. That was not fun for my liver.

Pig in the City

That'll do, pig. That'll do.
Hey guys,

This is a show I do that's on its 18th episode and I'd love some feedback on.

It's called Historians of Time and is available here:

(I'll do a link dump then go into content)

http://historiansoftime.libsyn.com

Itunes:
http://itunes.apple.com/au/podcast/historians-of-time/id518521140

Non-iTunes RSS:

http://historiansoftime.libsyn.com/rss

It's a weekly comedy show in which we go through the Wikipedia "This Day In History" for an entire week and improvise around what really happened and such - it's a chat format between me and my co-host Nick.

The show has been going really well for a while now - it was pushed by Justin McElroy from MBMBAM which gave it a massive boost and since then has a few times snuck into the Australian Comedy Audio Podcast Top 20 (which is one too many modifiers to actually be impressive)

I'd love some feedback and am open to discussion on what's good and what's bad.
Perhaps a strong episodes to start on would be around the 14-16 mark but anywhere is fine.

The sound quality starts terrible but is all good in the new episodes.

Thanks y'all.
