The second thing is to plug that we are blogging once again, but with less frequency. Posting an episode counts as a blog post right? Then come every MWF for new stuff to Dork Night.

The third thing is to promote the Traditional Games Design Contest already in progress and myself a contestant. One of our objectives for week two is to recruit a non-Traditional Games regular into endorsing our game. I'd humbly suggest that to find the winner, one only need to click here, but there are a lot of really good games in the contest. If you like what you see, I got third last contest, with Jurassic Central Park, and there are some brilliant games in this goldmined thread

Comedy, Every Couple Months

A ~30min movie pitch podcast in an absurdist vein.
Using just a proposed title as a starting point, a hypothetical feature film is planned out in full over the course of an episode. Ridiculous suggestions are incorporated and then justified (sometimes painstakingly) within the story's fictional universe. The dream is to have some rich-but-irresponsible listener bankroll one of these preposterous pitches as a full-scale production, but I'm not crossing my fingers quite yet.

Started your first episode, then switched to the second one because of the echo. Glad you fixed the sound problems. You guys have some chemistry. Negative feedback, the episode could use some more structure, having a very clear beginning with some bumpers (the beggining and end bumpers were good btw) where you state the title would help. Also you're going to lose people with title, it sucks people are like that, but that's the world. Also get on iTunes asap.

Not to get into D&D chat, but generally when I listen to a let's play, if it's a crunchy system like D&D, the less they use the actual rules the better. Nothing is more boring than listening to people rolling dice followed by "You miss" for more than a minute.

From Time to Time

A fictional series of broadcasts from 300 years in the Future. There are four episodes, and I suggest you listen to them in order or you'll miss out on a lot of the weird inside jokes and narrative developments that have built up. The main character is a scientist (a "chronographer", in the show's parlance) who works for the "Ministry of Experimental Science". His girlfriend is a robot who may or may not have a sinister secret. There are sometimes guests, but only one in the episodes that have been released so far.

Site|RSS|Tweets

Release schedule: Every two weeks.

Not bad. I listened to these this morning and enjoyed them. Overall a strong concept and I hope you keep putting them out.

Itunes. Get on it. It's free and easy and it will drive traffic to you.

Below are nitpicks and should be taken as such.

I hear a mouse click a couple of times, specifically at the very end of episode one and 35 seconds into episode three. It messes with the professionalism you project otherwise.

Something feels off in your main music choice. It sort of matches your tone, kinda, but there's nothing in it that reads "future dystopia".

You get better at it as the episodes go by, but trust the audience a little bit more. You tend to hammer the jokes pretty hard when sometimes its funnier to just let the listener ponder the future horror that awaits.

Also your image is not great. Text in a floating field texture isn't going to grab peoples eyes. If you go with text, go big and bold, solid text on high contrast backgrounds. The grids being the same color as the letters muddy the whole thing. Otherwise stick icons with highly recognizable outlines.
