After years of intense market research, I have determined that this is a dearth of "weird intenet randos talking about videogames" content, so a friend and I decided to fix that. Neither of us have ever podcasted before so we're very much in the learning phase, but overall I'm pretty pleased with how it's turning out so far. We just released our first episode this morning and have a couple more queued up. We're still ironing out the format, but as of right now we have a less focused first half where we touch on recent industry news and general topics, then pivot to more of a deep dive on a specific game or series in the back half. For the first episode, we touched on Palworld, Stellar Blade, Star Wars Outlaws (and Ubisoft shenanigans in general) before moving on to Cultic, one of the best games in the retro-FPS wave. Bastard Sword | Episode 2 - Ranking the Metal Gear Solid series. I feel like we're getting out podcasting legs under us now! We briefly chat about Dark Souls challenge runs, Marvel's Midnight Suns, the graphics arms race and Hellblade: Senua's Saga before not-quite-as-briefly ranking every game in the mainline MGS series.

We also did a bonus episode wherein I was quizzed on dumb MGS reviews and had to guess which game they were about.
