He’s said a lot of other poo poo I don’t care to dig up (most of which he deletes) but I saw them myself. It’s such a thing Tom has to make uneasy “jokes” about it. Mike sucks.

Yea I don’t understand why that matters. More positively: I think Jon is groovey and i remember an interview where he says he goes to a yearly retreat where he does peyote and a shaman channels spirits. Bless him.

It is an extra layer of lovely that Spike didn't just want to hear his own voice but also seemed to feel he had extra "importance" to the show than he did and I think that was behind him shunning the show for a while after Tom returned to FMU. Dave from Knoxville should be canonized, though.

Holy poo poo I tuned into Tim's Best Show and some caller asked him "what age did you get into the Beatles" and I almost threw my shoe at my speaker. Tim's look and reaction was completely appropriate something like "wtf? yea that's what people want to hear about." If people are going to get past Mike with poo poo like that I'll tune in next week. edit: look, if you just want to talk to your hero you still gotta have a topic. Don't improv your topic on the fly! If that was a pre-thought-out question then that caller should be humanely euthanized.

One time I messaged Dave during a Best Show hiatus to tell him how much I enjoyed his calls. He was super nice (of course) and we had a fun talk about 70s glam rock.
