Would anyone want to trade a Ghost Scorpion Lager for an Oskar Blues or two? I can get these novelty, gimmicky hot-as-hell beers (and priced as such), but doubt they'll be on the shelves past the weekend, and I keep hearing so much about these magic-in-a-can beers (would love a Ten Fidy and/or GUBNA or Old Chub.) I know I'm not on any of the beer trade sites but will promise to honor the shipping FAQ and not let you down.

I can't get Oskar Blues, but I would really like a bottle of Ghost Scorpion to inflict on my chilehead friends. I can offer a decent selection of stuff from my local micro, as well as some West Coast stuff (notably Deschutes). I'll also be in Orange County in a couple of weeks if Bruery things interest you. Email me (gmail, username) and maybe we can figure something out.

Shaky, I can probably get a lot of the canned Oskar Blues lineup from my distributor. Email me (username @ gmail) and we'll work on getting you some delicious canned goodies!

edit: I just cracked a can of Ten Fidy that I brought home today after seeing your post - this is a hell of a stout!

Didn't have a chance to pick up the Ghost Scorpion this evening, but I called and they are setting some aside for me. My wife and I both have crazy friends from our respective home towns that have expressed interest too so I'll probably clear the stock of 5-6 they had as long as some other insane people have wandered in since yesterday.

And Freelance, that sounds awesome. You probably know what's in my area (central OH) more than I so just let me know what you want in trade. If you need a recommend for local, it would be Brew Kettle. They've impressed me more than most.

Two jump out at me, from the bottled offerings at the Brew Kettle: White Rajah and Tunguska.

I am also interested in absolutely anything from Jackie O's in Athens, or, if the distribution is there, a Dark Horse Barrel-Aged Plead the 5th. Dark Horse will hit my market in a week or two, but we can't get the B-A version.

Also, I'm out on vacation all of next week, and may or may not have access to my email. Try to drop me a line by Saturday PM!

edit: tonight's a beer-tasting night and my typing seems to reflect that :respek::cheers:

I've had multiple pre-trades fall through on this but I'll try again because I know people were able to get more than their allotment:

Looking for 2012 Hunahpu, preferably a bottle or two if possible.

Haves:

2012 KBS
Curmudgeon's Better Half
Dark Horse Bourbon Barrel Plead the Fifith
Khunhenn Bourbon Barrel 4th Dementia
Khunhenn Bourbon Barrel Barley Wine
Jolly Pumpkin Bambic
Jolly Pumpkin La Roja Grand Reserve
Bruery Filmishmish
Bruery Black Tuesday '11
Future Jackie O's releases (3/24 - Kentucky Monk, Baklava Braggot, Vanilla Rum Apparition)

A lot of those are pretty rare and might not have the hype behind them but definitely lower bottle numbers. I really wanna try some fresh Hunahpu but its gotten to the point where I'll probably fly down to Florida for next year's event (my grandparents live 30 minutes from Tampa)

Sorry, I feel horrible that I didn't get the box out last week. I was trying to get some friends to help out with some local rares but they are useless. Still putting together your package and having a hell of a time finding anything you'd find interesting- doing my best! IT WILL be in the mail this week and I'll msg you the details.

Thank you for the 6 pack- finally saw my sisters this weekend. Only tried the Gumballhead so far and it was great! We're really excited to try the rest. You're the best Corbet!

speaking of gumballhead. i have no problem doing a local for local trade for some of this. at least a 6 pack. i'm from philly, so you know our market is insane with stuff i can get off the shelf. i just love this beer so much, and at this point, i have no problem with trading for more since it's 1 of about 3 breweries that have yet to come to the philly market.
if anyone is interested, message me and we can try to working something out.

Is Pliny easy to find right about now? I'm looking to get some Surly brews, most notably Bender, Cynic, and Coffee Bender. A couple cans of each should do it. Don't have much of a cellar, but I can trade anything I can reasonably get in Chicago (i.e. don't expect Bourbon County or other super rare poo poo I can't reasonably find on the shelf, but Zombie Dust isn't out of the question).

I still have a source that has 6 packs of Hopslam. Unfortunately, they want 29.95 per 6 pack. I can also get KBS for $20 per bottle. This place is an absolute ripoff, however it's also the best selection in Pennsylvania, given our crazy liquor laws.

I agree. The store is owned by a very opportunistic Indian family (none of whom drinks alcohol), who realized that Pittsburgh had a paucity of stores that sell good beer. They have an excellent selection, however charge out the rear end.

If you're looking to do some trading for that, I have a liquor store 2 blocks that I pretty much could get you all of these in a swoop for some 3 Floyds. I also saw some Abrasives at a place a week or so back but I'm not sure if that is something you'd want this late after canning.

EDIT: Also willing to drive over to WI to get some New Glarus. I personally have never had any, so if I'm picking up for someone it gives me a reason to go out and get myself some.
