Anyone want Founder's All-Day IPA or Bell's Hopslam? I've got a few kicking around I won't drink. Would consider anything, really, since I value novelty and new experiences over ratings. edit: I also have two bottles of Southern Tier Choklat that might like a new home. Shaky, I can probably get a lot of the canned Oskar Blues lineup from my distributor. Email me (username @ gmail) and we'll work on getting you some delicious canned goodies! edit: I just cracked a can of Ten Fidy that I brought home today after seeing your post - this is a hell of a stout! Two jump out at me, from the bottled offerings at the Brew Kettle: White Rajah and Tunguska. I am also interested in absolutely anything from Jackie O's in Athens, or, if the distribution is there, a Dark Horse Barrel-Aged Plead the 5th. Dark Horse will hit my market in a week or two, but we can't get the B-A version. Also, I'm out on vacation all of next week, and may or may not have access to my email. Try to drop me a line by Saturday PM! edit: tonight's a beer-tasting night and my typing seems to reflect that FreelanceSocialist fucked around with this message at 04:58 on Mar 9, 2012 |

A co-worker has a bottle of CBS and a bottle of 2011 Black Ops he's interested in selling. Not sure if there would be any interest here. He's asking $100 for the CBS and $25 for the BO.

ISO: Cigar City Homefront IPA If anyone can get a bottle or two, I have a friend interested in it who has a reasonable collection of random stuff he's willing to trade.

I have Frangelic Mountain if anyone is interested. Managed to snag a case at work and would be more than willing to hook Goons up if you're out of Founders distribution. Interested in your local beers edit: Five bottles left. FreelanceSocialist fucked around with this message at 13:38 on Jul 23, 2012 |

I have some Founders Devil Dancer, not a lot, but if anyone wants to try a tongue-dissolving triple IPA, I can send you a bottle. Interested in any beers near you that don't see wide distribution.

For Trade: Beers from White Birch, Throwback, Candia Road, Maine Beer Company. Obviously, their year-round lineups are easier to get, but if you want a specific beer, let me know and I will see what I can find. I also have one bottle of Frangelic Mountain left. In Search Of: drat near any of your local, tiny brewery beers. I tend to trade dollar-for-dollar on the retail prices unless it is some crazy vintage barrel-aged unicorn magical beer or something. I have approximately a case of Maine Beer Co. Lunch IPA, bottled 10/14/12. It's going to go fast (mostly because I am drinking it all), so if you're watching this thread and want some, let me know ASAP. I am interested in local beers from your area. If anyone is interested in Maine Beer Co, Throwback, or Candia Road, I hit all three fairly often. I may be able to pull off getting you 32 oz mini-growlers of Throwback's limited release stuff straight from the brewery as well. I'm interested in almost anything, just wanted to post the offer of the above three.

Just wanted to post publicly that I did a trade w/ funkybottoms. His end arrived today, very well packed. So far I have cracked DuClaw Sweet Baby Jesus, which was a surprisingly good twist on a robust porter, and a DC Brau Corruption IPA which is very solid as well. Funky will be receiving some tasty things from Allagash, Hill Farmstead, and some other locals on Monday, according to tracking.

I just trade $4$ (dollar-for-dollar) unless it is something very difficult to get or something I have cellared purposefully and properly for a while - something with additional intrinsic value. With those scenarios, my trade partner and I reach an agreement ahead of time. I can get things like Allagash brewery-only sours really easily, so even though those are rare as far as the rest of the planet is concerned, they are just $4$ to me. In the end, it's beer. I send things I have to get things I don't.

You plebs need to sign up for FedEx online accounts. Pack it, measure/weigh it, print a label and slap it on. Drop it off at a Fed Ex location (or even schedule a pickup). It might even be cheaper than taking it to a brick and mortar - I sent 30lbs of awesomeness to funkyb for like $12. You don't have to answer silly questions. You don't even have to make eye contact if you don't want to. My last few trades, I had my FedEx guy pick up the boxes at my house because I didn't have time to drop them off that day. I tip him with Starbucks cards when he has to lug stupid heavy boxes around for me, but I still come out way ahead it seems.

Angry Grimace posted:Its too expensive to do that on a regular basis. Shipping two 22 oz's plus packaging is almost $20. People are usually going to want some stuff they've heard of.
