If this EoA flash isn't the most spectacular thing that has ever happened in the history of webcomics, the world will be destroyed by my massive Homestuck blueballs.

That said, Hussie is rarely known to disappoint!

I'm going to have to go look for the mashup you're talking about now. Homestuck fans in their native habitat are pretty hilarious to watch :allears:

Yeah, if you find that defnitely post it. Just thinking about it reminds me of this.

I wonder how much he actually makes, if he can afford "several thousand dollars a month" for hosting, and also pay for rent, food, etc. $10k for one day of hosting this flash? It took me most of last year to earn that much.

If the flash isn't up before I leave for work, I will take my tablet and go to McDonald's or somewhere with free wifi for lunch. Let's face it, I'm gonna be pretty distracted tomorrow anyway.

To my knowledge he makes quite a bit of money off of that Photoshop plugin. MSPA is just an (expensive, self-sustaining) hobby.

Can I ask where the whole thing with Karkat and the pants came from? I think I may have missed it when it first started being mentioned and I don't really get it.

Even if she had made it she probably wouldn't have used it because it's a sprite of one of Iron Man's special moves in Marvel vs Capcom.

Didn't see anyone else mention this yet, but I just noticed the smallest of details. the caterpillar thing on Jane's shirt has a D: face on it, whereas John's always had a :D (you can see it on page 1 of Homestuck). Not sure what this means for this universe, but I don't think it's good if even caterpillars aren't happy!

It's not a Green Ghosty like John's shirt, it's one of the imaginary-realm beasts from Problem Sleuth. This one specifically.

That said, it having a frown instead of a smile could very well be some kind of foreshadowing. I mean... Hussie.

What I said is still basically true though. These fancy extra god tier levels are still just jokes. Good, funny jokes. There's no way the extra mangrit and youngster gumption will actually help the kids win any upcoming battles, or be relevant in any unique way to the plot. Simply because that would be silly and boring in a terrible dragonball z kind of way.

Homestuck has a really bad fandom, generally speaking. This is the only place I even go to interact with other fans. Sometimes I lurk HSG on /co/ because it moves veeery quickly but honestly it's like a Hussie-flavoured trainwreck.

The only Homestuck fan I've ever seen in my day to day life (that I didn't introduce to it, so discounting my little sister and best friends) was one of the zombies at the haunted house I worked at last year. I was the pirate captain for 13th Floor AZ (top-ranked house in the southwest, top ten in the nation!) and one of the zombies in the Zombieland limited attraction had a Vriska shirt. I never brought it up but she seemed nice.

Speed edit: probably should've pointed out that zombies provided their own clothes, so it was definitely not a coincidence.

Nth-ing the theory of uu and UU being the same individual, potentially. I'm not going to get attached to the theory or anything but it seems to be hinted at, at least. Also, as far as the "fan" trolls theory goes, UU reminds me of Tumbr and uu reminds me of 4chan. Maybe Hussie can introduce a more level-headed SomethingAwful troll.

So I've been playing Mass Effect 3 and (very minor spoiler without context) the Quarian who created and named the first Geth is named Zahhak. Now, I'm aware that Zahhak is also a figure of Persian legend, but given Equius' predilection toward robot-building, could this be a Homestuck reference? With the volume of nerds at Bioware it wouldn't surprise me but I don't want to sound like I'm reaching. It just made me chuckle when I caught it.

As anyone could tell from my avatar I'm clearly an expert on coffee divinations. There's definitely some significance to the "weird coffee" because Hussie is beating us over the head with the stuff. 'Troll Blood' doesn't necessarily ring true to me but on the other hand, when he includes details like Karkat and Dave's reds being subtly different, it seems like the color matches could lead somewhere, no?
