Your eyes aren't deceiving you - Arthur has no tail. Ford has a silly half-tail.

FYI these are all Arthur because Ford does look pretty composed most of the time.

Have you had her checked out at the vet? Sudden changes in cat behavior usually means some sort of illness. Peeing in soft places can mean crystals and if so, those need to get taken care of ASAP.
