It's pretty obvious that the writers for EMH must really love doom, as he completely wrecked the avengers and the fantastic four by himself and then calmly sat down and told them to get out of his country. Not that I minded as I'm a huge doom fanboy myself. Great Thing/Hulk dyanmic in this episode as well. Really glad the second season is finally starting. I'd also say that having superman just lash out at him says something about both characters. Supes was usually pretty calm and collected, but he just loses it when he fights darkseid. It helps shows just how much darkseid has hosed with superman and how much superman hates him. It also shows that darkseid is big deal, because he's the only one who can get such a reaction out of supes. It's much more enjoyable to watch then darkseid just being a strong guy they fight.

The darkseid episodes of Superman were awesome. The ending of legacy is one of my favorite caroon moments. I remember lois being enjoyable and the woman who voiced here completely nailing the role, but that could be nostalgia talking.
