Talking about stupid poo poo that's going on in the world is a vital part of blowing off steam.  Obviously there's a limit to how far it can go, but up to that point there's nothing wrong with it and it might even be a good thing.

There have indeed been a couple times where I was in the low effort thread and said to myself "gently caress the rules, I'm going to comment on that picture because it's just that good." But I hate not having POSTING PRIVILEGES so I closed the tab and tried to forget the situation.

Yes but it's IN THE CLOUD so it's web 2.0. Or are we up to 3.0 now? Either way they really want you to pay for it so that's why it exists.
