So far, Caro's portrayal of Johnson is almost entirely negative. I'm excited to see how he handles Johnson's pushing of the Civil Rights Act of 1957 (and his later civil rights stuff), since that's what he's usually championed for. I guess it will take a few years for the next two to come out. . . The next one, Passage of Power, is supposed to come out this year in May. Caro said the fifth and final one would take take him 2-3 years to write, but who knows when that will get finished.
