I just found out about the singer/songwriter Jeff Hanson that was signed to KRS in 2003. I am absolutely blown away. This guy wrote some really beautiful songs. Then I found out he passed away back in 2009. I am really shocked at how underrated he is. He deserves much more attention. I hate it so much when I find an artist that I really like just to find out they have passed on. Anyone else stoked for Cass McCombs new album out in February? Can't wait! I discovered him a couple years ago when Mangy Love came out and I have not looked back since. Definitely my new favorite songwriter out there. Andy Shauf is a close second! Edit: He just released another song from the upcoming LP Tip of the Sphere out February 8th. Estrella Sgt.
