The new Silversun Pickups album is pretty good, I'm really digging it. AND that Phantogram/Big Boi collab EP is out today too. I quite like it but can see why it might be a bit divisive

I strongly disliked neck of the woods and like this new album a lot. A bit too glossy at times but Nightlight and everything after it is great I thought.

Spoon and Billy Idol were the best shows I saw this year. Unfortunately Ludacris was the worst by far. Joywave was a really fun show despite disliking their album.

Joywave is so much better live. Their album is weirdly flat but their show is very energetic. The frontman worked the crowd like nothing when I saw them open for the kooks

Just got back from seeing M83. I guess their new album kind of got a lukewarm reception but it was a fantastic show. New material was all really good too. Road Blaster was definitely a highlight.

If I didn't go for the openers I would have never gotten into FJM or sweet spirit. Only opener I've regretted arriving in time for is Bob Moses earlier this year, definitely not my kind of scene.

Got my Hot Thoughts LP and it's really good, which I guess is to be expected from Spoon. Pink Up is a really cool song. They've been talking about using Inside Out from the last record as a starting point for this one and it really shows.

Spoon and grizzly bear were awesome. Great show. Grizzly bear had a lot more energy then i expected and spoon was nothing like when i saw them touring They Want My Soul. Lot of weird interludes and extended grooove jams. Very cool.
