So Plugin Boutique has all the elements level software from Isotope for $50 till July 8. https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effects/39-FX-Bundle/5469-iZotope-Music-Essentials-Bundle My question is: is Izotope even any good? I feel like it is, but that might be because SonicState plugs for them a LOT. I have ozone elements and vocal doubler and I find the first thing I do when I make changes to a track is to go through and disable all the iZotope stuff I have in the project because I can't deal with the input delay they introduce. am I crazy?

Rotten Red Rod posted:It's possible I just don't know what I'm doing, or it changed in the most recent version (there was a new one this weekend). I'll just look closer when I get home. I've got FL Slayer Fruity Soundfont Player Fruity Video Player No Layer. (I have 20.6) edit: for Kicks and giggles I checked version 12 and no "Layer" plugin there either.

Flipperwaldt posted:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeakottZUs0 definitely not there. Will directwave do what you are trying to get to? Sampler (the plugin) doesn't load in Patcher for me either. You may be looking for a 3rd party VST. this is what my cursory google got me: https://www.uvi.net/en/software/uvi-workstation.html

Anime Reference posted:You can fake the OPL sound with any FM synth if you stick to sine waves and two-operator algorithms (you might also need to bitcrush a bit to mimic their low-res DACs.) VOPM simulates the OPM chip, which was similar and used in a lot of 80s and 90s arcade machines as well as some budget synths. There's also some VSTs that simulate the Genesis chip, but I don't remember what they're called offhand. I don't know of any VSTs that simulate the OPL directly, although there's probably one out there based on AdPlug. https://www.discodsp.com/opl/

OutOfPrint posted:The ones I use cost $$$, but it's always worth looking here: https://plugins4free.com/effects/Delay-Echo/?page=1 Try TAL-DUB II if you haven't. It might not be quite what you're looking for, but it's a characterful delay in it's own right. https://plugins4free.com/plugin/598/ Also DVS Space Echo is really good for long warm delays https://plugins4free.com/plugin/2530/ but actually: Oldstench posted:My son, have you heard the good word of Valhalla Delay?
