Rupert Buttermilk posted:Makes me wonder how many people I currently support who are secretly complete bastards. Good news, with the increasing economic hardship and conservative media rage farming for views you'll find out sooner than you think! Edit Is there something that does a similar "coloring" job to RC-20. I feel like I just reach for it for default.

The vague tweet wasn't just one tweet. The initial backlash had him responding and posting the 1,000 families suing the Tavistock clinic and bringing up that he's super worried about it because his kids are autistic, one thing the video didn't really mention because he locked his poo poo down fairly quick after that and deleted most of that stuff. If his coworkers didn't get through to him and express the need for an apology/retraction/mea culpa statement then he's willfully being a dick about it. apatheticman fucked around with this message at 18:30 on Feb 23, 2023 |

free Trapt CD posted:Love to see hundreds of comments complaining about "the torches and pitchforks mob". Just a really solid, self-aware crowd this dude chose to align himself with there. The fact that he hasn't said "My opinions are my own as are my actions, don't go after others for them" says more about him than his loving lovely opinions. Dude was always going to flame out in one way or another, just super sucks it was in a manner that caused so much backlash for others.

Grassy Knowles posted:I’m going to disagree, I’m glad he outed the whole company as being complicit in transphobia instead of pretending he’s an aberration of a great place to work. Fair enough. Was more referring to the Pianobook community that got several trans moderators and collaborators ran off or put in lovely situations where work they were proud of was suddenly tainted by ol "look at me I got opinions" Henson.

Rupert Buttermilk posted:Why can't companies just offer the two pronged approach? Allow people to buy them or subscribe to them. Maybe offer a subscription discount based on how many eligible plugins you already own in your account, I don't know. Even not offering the discount would be preferable to not allowing a user to purchase them. MBAs want continual revenue, simple as.

You have to load a specific midi out module https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SR_qQDGHuI Reason is still pretty skewmorphic so if you don't have anything below your instrument or generator its a sign that a step is missing. Pretty sure it works the same way for reason rack but.... not sure on that one... apatheticman fucked around with this message at 01:47 on Aug 17, 2023 |
