Since no one has posted anything for you guys to read yet, I'll throw one out there. I work at a hockey rink part time and I volunteered to do the birthday announcements when they come up. I enjoy doing it and I have fun with it using an over-campy loud "top 40 radio DJ" voice. I have absolutely no professional training but VO acting interests me. I would love to see how mine compares to professional VA. So if you guys want, here is one for fun/practice: Length: 10-40 seconds, its generally brief, but feel free to draw it out if possible. Due: n/a this is practice Notes: Sound excited, this is to announce a kids birthday, be loud and clear so you can be heard via loudspeakers in the hockey rink Script: Attention Grundy Arena. We would like to wish Jane Smith, a very special 10th birthday. We hope you have fun and enjoy the rest of your day here at the Grundy Arena. Pay: Nothing, this is practice. And don't worry about your sample being used ever unless a Jane Smith comes in for her 10th birthday. And even then it won't be used. So, if you want, here is a short practice thing.
