ETA: I hope it does well, though. My Nexus 7 was the best tablet I've ever owned, and I'd love to see Google start making tablets again.

Re: people singing the praises of the N7: So perhaps this was inherent to all devices released around that time, but I had both a first and second gen N7 and they both became so slow as to be completely unusable within a few years. I did love the form factor and OS, but literally would take minutes to open an app after a while. First and only android devices I ever had to get rid of before hardware failure/battery degradation (or just choosing to upgrade).
