I like Resident Advisors charts, I've been digging most of their top 50 for December 2011 and top 50 for August 2011, both of which heavily feature Maceo Plex and Eats Everything. If anyone has any related acts toss em up.

AKP posted:Maceo Plex (Under The Sheets) is amazing. Definitely check out Hot Natured & VisionQuest - Hot Natured is a DJ collective of Jamie Jones & Lee Floss. Vision Quest is a record label run by Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves and Lee Curtiss. I'll post some songs and a hilarious interview with Vision Quest near the end of this post. Holy poo poo that kid in the black hat hahhahahahaha. I love Catz n Dogz, I love everything off dirtybird. Even the new techghetto or whatever the gently caress they call it they publish a lot of, I always think I'm not gonna like it but every time http://soundcloud.com/killfrenzy/kill-frenzy-booty-clap its so loving funny I can't help but dig it, especially after 2:00. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2N0_j4J3FgY Is catz n dogz newest EP iirc. Theres something about that album cover, Im like 90% sure im not still drunk from last night but if I try and look into the eyes I get like that illusion of motion, like the rooster is moving towards me or something. Probably still drunk though. Lars Wickinger is another fav of mine in Tech House: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RYP4cs5M84 "Darth Vader" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGIUCqazZYo&feature=related "Muscles and Flowers" Hes got some other less "german" stuff too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOp7Am1Gl4Y "Camouflage" All his tunes are on different labels though so its hard to get his stuff in one place. E: Just listened to Sweat (Daneeka Remix), I've heard this thing before when out, I had been looking for it thanks a ton Longtiem fucked around with this message at 20:00 on Jan 28, 2012 |

Either way, was totally great all night long. Quincy Smallvoice posted:Anyone down with that new beatport DJ thing? I have two invites left! Whats the beatport DJ thing? I've been listening to Blawans Boiler Room mix on repeat for about 8 hours now. Anyone got anything else I should I give a spin? E: I lost my old HDD and I lost all my of my collection, about $300 of bought tracks from beatport + countless, absolutely countless hours of bootlegs. Does anyone have advice on getting it back from beatport? I had to email their tech support once before when I hosed up an album DL but will they be understanding for so many tracks? Also where can I go to get great mixes? AKP has been super helpful with this before but I wanna know more places than just the standards. Like techno, if that changes what anyone is going to recommend. E2: I love your mix bill carey! Longtiem fucked around with this message at 10:37 on Dec 11, 2012 |

There's nothing like being entranced by a fat bassline and single piece of percussion in a warehouse at 10am on a Monday morning. Parties there never seem to end, once the night ravers have gone to work a whole new bunch show up. If you love techno or music in general get out and experience it. It's unlike anything or anywhere else, an insane music culture. tell us about it bro where did you go who did you see

This thread is more small nightclub do ketamine off the toilet seat with the DJ kinda sound, if that could be a genre.
