My initial thought of 'sell tickets to salvagers with the promise that whoever gets it running gets to keep it free and clear, with a hearty congrats from the Rogue Trader and a recommendation letter to the Navis Nobilite' kinda falls apart since you'd have to do regular passenger runs.

e: You could probably sucker an entire noble house from one of your planets to do it, though
