I'm really excited to see what people come up with. I'm looking to homebrew a cost-effective vehicle tracking solution for the logistics company I work for. Basically, something that polls a GPS chip for data in minute intervals and shoots the data back to server via a 3G modem, or SMS gateway.

What dashboard software is good these days? I like the look of that smartmirror project but I don't plan on using a mirror. Just a spare monitor I have that I'd like to put in my kitchen to send recipes, basic browsing, and a few API connections. Seems like a lot of SaaS solutions but I'd prefer to self host

What's a good cheap way to connect passive speaker wires to an old B+ or Pi Zero? EDIT: This is just one audio project I've got. Some speakers on my deck. Also looking for the latest recommendation for SPDIF hat for a Pi 3B+/4

I set my Pi 4 up quite a while ago running LibreElec since we've only really been using it for Kodi on the TV. Is there any real performance difference between LibreElec and running Kodi on a Raspbian install?
