Hello Taiwan goons. I'm going to move to Taiwan on a working holiday visa in a month or so. I have enough savings to support myself without working for some time (although finding a job would be good, I don't want to spend it all) and would like to stay in a few different cities before I decide on one to settle in. Hotels are too expensive but I've found some nice apartments in Taipei on this website. Nope, no Chinese. I suspect this is a big part of my problem. I had a look on Tealit and didn't really see anything that looked that nice for significantly less money.

I am on a working holiday visa from Australia which will hopefully make things a bit easier. Thanks for the advice, I am kind of hung up on the whole having-a-nice-apartment thing though so I'll keep looking.
