korusan posted:I actually thought the same when I was getting a source for the image, but then I remembered how I have a wheelchair-bound friend from high school who nicknamed himself "Wheels". Every single person with a significant handicap whom I've ever known has had a wicked sense of humour about themselves and their handicap. I guess it's either that or become a bitter shell of a human being (and the latter type probably aren't very social and therefore less visible out and about).
