Caught up with it a few weeks ago, really nice webcomic. Really good use of colour, and the writing's funny and pokes fun at a lot of genre conventions. Cucumber and Almond have a great dynamic, and I also kind of like how Cucumber is essentially a reverse Roy Greenhilt - he wants to be a mage while his dad wants him to be a warrior, rather than the other way around.

And Brambleby is just hilarious for some reason.

Honestly, a comically oversized bathtub drain actually sounds like it could be useful against a water-based foe like Splashmaster.

I'm now wondering if you could get the Extremely Specific And Pretty Much Completely Worthless Capsule Spell Machine under the Trade Descriptions Act.

Then again, I guess "Pretty Much" does give it enough legal wiggle room.

Also no-one would actually want to complain if their spell actually did do something useful, so hey.

Now we just need to find out what the pizza spell does. Maybe Splashmaster is lactose-intolerant?

I'm happy Almond got to deal the killing blow, I feel like she really needed that as a character. There's usually this invisible joke zone that media allows female fighters to be competent in before the men have to step in and despite all evidence to the contrary I was still worried that somehow her attack would do nothing and Carrot had to finish Splashmaster off or some dumb poo poo like that.

E: On the other hand, she should have fed Carrot that kill, since he could really need the experience.

I'm guessing that the Dream Oracle will assume that Cucumber finished off Splashmaster and refuse to believe any testimony to the contrary.

He certainly seems to have things more together than the last guy. I was actually thinking all the disaster masters were going to be horribly incompetent.

You can definitely see why the Nightmare Knight has a lot more confidence in Noisemaster than he did in Splashmaster.

Though from what we've seen so far, I suspect Noisemaster's weakness might be good ol' monologuing. Guy likes the sound of his own voice a bit too much (though who can blame him?)

3. Crystal Kingdom DM
2. Glitchmaster
1. Nightmare Knight

With it being roughly a three ranking increase for using the Hocus Crocus. So Rosemaster is either as powerful, or more powerful that Glitchmaster right now.

There's also the Sky Kingdom's DM as well, who I guess will show up between Crystal Kingdom and Glitchmaster.
