I'm seriously considering grabbing a pedal and taking a shot at some transcription work over the summer here and there.

Does anyone have or know of some samples of what the end-result transcription should look like? I'm curious to see how the various "uh, um..." and [cough] expressions are formatted.

I am thinking about taking a look at this kind of work over the weekend to supplement my current job. I already spend a portion of my week working at home so I have some dedicated space that would work nicely.

I have read through the last few pages and noticed people talking about timecodes and the use of [INAUDIBLE] and different tags and so on. Is there any kind of recommended how-to for the proper formatting for these files? Or even better, any examples of audio with an accompanying transcript which has been done in the correct format? I had assumed each transcription house had their own requirements or acceptable format, but I'm not even sure of that entirely.
