Considering that the novel translation is now on SLAUGHTER CITY, THE CITY WHERE EVERYONE DRINKS BLOOD JUST TO SHOW HOW MUCH THEY LOVE TO MURDER, they probably had to heavily rewrite the story. There are so many tiny details that I couldn't possibly imagine offending anyone but still was rewritten in weird ways. Like the guy who has the power to make recovery food, but only sausages and constantly drops innuendos. Got changed from sausages to smelly tofu, still makes innuendo.
