Hannibal Smith posted:And there's an option to turn them off in the config menu now, which I was super excited about. I hate pre-order bonuses that just dump overpowered equipment into your inventory at the start. It was especially annoying in this game, since it would automatically equip the Blue Stripes jacket at the beginning of every section of the tutorial. To be fair they just nerfed it pretty good. I got rid of the Blue Stripes Jacket pretty quickly after I got to Flotsam. Also I discovered a fairly easy way to kill Letho without feeling too cheap. I didn't even use Quen, I just dodged quite a bit (having the 150% roll/dodge skill is almost a must) waited for his quen to wear off. Once it does get in as close as you can and blast him with Aard, and do a heavy-heavy-light combo on him, should be able to get it off every time if you were close enough. I had an easier time killing Letho this way on dark difficulty then killing him in normal on my first playthrough.

Woah keep an eye on your witcher saves in the Wither 2 folder in 'My Documents' (all users) I just deleted 3.5 gigs of old-rear end saves.

Anybody having an error keeping them from finishing the dice missions in Dwarf Town? I have to play the smith's assistant (4/5) and right when I agree to play him in dice, the screen goes black for a bit, and then the dwarf pops back into view and goes through the convo options as if I had lost.

I just can't do the final showdown with Letho. When hearing bout Phillipa and Sile bitch about him, and then hearing him tell-all about how he did it at the end I had to respect the crafty bastard, and part ways without a fight. I mean christ, the guy shares a couple shots of vodka with me. Plus it didn't matter too much, I chose the Iorveth // 'do everything you can to save Triss' route. I don't think I even saw Roche in the final act.

Well that kind of sucks. I think Letho was my favorite character of the whole game. King Foltest was well played too. And they did a good job with the dwarves poo poo-talking amongst themselves
