Thanks for the kayak tips, I'll check them out and see what I can find.

I bought a new rod/reel today and caught an enormous fish (tiny pinfish) on my first cast. That is a good omen, right? Later I caught a spinner shark as well. This was surf fishing out in Pensacola Beach, FL. I was using shrimp for bait.

Can someone recommend a fish dehooking tool? I'm fairly new to fishing (saltwater), only doing catch-and-release for the time being and I feel like I'm causing these fish a large amount of trauma trying to get them dehooked.
