caught two stripers this morning on the beach and I think a seal took a third off me. thought about fighting him but the sharks will be here soon to carry out swift justice for me

its 4:45am and im once again fishing the cape canal and i just watched two 60 year old men get into a fistfight over a spot. this poo poo is ridiculous, i better catch a 40 inch bass to make up for it

landed a 35inch striper and got tail slapped so hard in the face it might bruise. worth it, felt like a white shark when it hit my popper

I like my baitcaster for sightcasting or when I’m trying to hit very specific spots and then I have a huge spinning setup for bombing home runs into the wind on the beach without having to worry about a backlash
