So there was an update to the YouTube channel which apparently now plays ads. I say apparently because it's failing to load any of my subscriptions. I was hoping this day wouldn't come

I thought a workaround might be to add myself as a subscription in browser-YouTube, but apparently you can't do that. Seems like there is a whole bunch of functionality missing. Pretty much. There'll be bug fixes and minor updates for the 3rd gen. There's only so much they can do with the dinky little cpu in there. It is old

It'd be neat if they prettied it up and made it more Plex-like. Yeah I really hope they haven't gimped this. Pretty much all I use my ATV for is streaming tv shows/movies from my iTunes library.
