Between this and the announcement that steam is coming to linux it has been a good week for my inner nerd. Kde 4.8.x is also great - the version I'm running now has a couple of little issues, but the overall polish is great and I'm hoping the 12.04 release has the little bugs fixed. I'm also about to find out if they're using the new patched version of grub2 that doesn't crash when encountering raid arrays with hot spares
