I was delighted to find out that they sold the luggage storage facilities at Victoria (and at presumably all other stations?) to some private enterprise. Not only did we need to get our luggage security scanned, but it costs nearly a tenner or so to keep a few bags in storage for a few hours. How is this privatised service any better at all than just keeping a few lockers around, plus two or three guys for the big stuff. I don't even want to know how much they're making off this nonsense.
