Isn't open Holocaust denial new for them? It doesn't suprise me that that sort of thinking is prevailent in the EDL, but I didn't think they'd go beyond vagely hinting at it or something.

If they introduce themselves as Christians, it'll (theoretically, in the mind of an EDL member) be easier for the school to ignore them as crazies who only want their religion taught. They're trying to look like respectable, reasonable people taking a well thought-out stance in the uncontroversial middle ground, safely away from all those nasty extremists.
