The new Amazing Spider-man trailer uses the song How To Get Eaten By A Woman by The Glitch Mob. Director Marc Webb wants Spider-man to portray more of a spider's biology, and male spiders evolved various methods to avoid being mistaken for prey the larger females. Maybe they are trying to say that Peter Parker is not very good with girls?

Also count me as being fooled by the trailer to Cellular. When I watched the trailer, I really thought that this is going to be a straight thriller. The final shots I saw was very dramatic, with the protagonist running and the woman's desperate voice telling him to save her family. The actual film which I saw years later ended up having a bit more comedy in it.

Speaking of zombies:

The trailer for Warm Bodies does a good job of showing that this is definitely nothing like Twilight. Although I think it does spoil the plot a bit, and the reveal that the protagonist's friend can definitely talk.

It's from the director of 50/50, so it has that going for it. The book the film is based on is also a comedy, unlike Twilight (how the movies turning out aside).

What was the blu-ray Julie was holding up next to R's face in the trailer? It looks familiar.

The very first movie is more of a straight horror film, Evil Dead 2 (which is basically a remake of the first movie) is where they started adding slightly comedic elements to it. While Army of Darkness (which is the third movie and a direct sequel to Evil Dead 2) is just straight up sillygroovy.

Fixed that for you.

Raimi and Campbell has stated that the remake will be a straight-up horror movie, although as you can see in that trailer there's still plenty of Raimi in it.

I like to go to car sites like Jalopnik when trailers like the one for F&F6 gets posted there, just to see all the car nerds going ga-ga over the vehicles featured. There will inevitably be one or two guys that tries to list everything in the trailer. And from the looks of it, the filmmakers are not skimping in that aspect.

One of the main things I've come to look forward to from new Iron Man movies is the increasingly outlandish methods Stark comes up with for getting into the Iron Man suit.

It does not appear that Iron Man 3 is going to disappoint.

In Avengers 2, he will just lift up a rock in the middle of the savannah where a secret fingerprint sensor verifies his identity and a new suit of armor will come flying out of a nearby trashcan. Much like in the tokusatsu series Cybercop.

It's actually based on The Spook's Apprentice by Joseph Delaney. Maybe they are the naming movie after an unrelated Card novel because of the Ender's Game adaptation.
