I played the game in German, which must have been translated from English, and understood even less of the plot, if you can imagine. Parts of the game were literally gibberish.

I played the absolute poo poo out of FFL2 when I was a kid because it was all I had for a while and I even discovered the bgm/sound effect menu on my own. I'm not sure how I, or anyone really, figured to press random buttons until something cool happens.
