How large is the install on the 360? I am stuck with a 20 gig HD so space is always at a premium.

Also out of the people I know I am the only person not making some sort of Game of Thrones knockoff characters, which is disappointing. I am not going for high art mind you because at the moment in the Demo my char/pawn is set as Conan and Red Sonja.

So is there a way to turn off the letterboxing of the gameplay? It didn't bug me in the demo because it was such a small slice, but now that I am out in the world it is driving me mad.

A question for Warrior players: I've been looking for a good action game ever since I finished Bayonetta, and since the Warrior's combat style was designed by the DMC3/4 teams, would you say that the combat in this game as the Warrior can get to that level?

Well I am not far enough to make any real qualitative statement towards that, but do keep in mind that Bayonetta is pretty much the pinnacle of the character action genre in terms of combat, so anything else is going to be a step down.

That said I am having fun with my fighter so far, although a lot of the more advanced options are gated behind you spending points on earning abilities.

I just ran away from those. My main pawn kept on yabbering we need to run and I don't really see a way to win against those things early on.

Just run back up and trigger the cutscene.

This is kinda fucky that Warriors get screwed out on active skills. I just assumed since they have 1 weapon it would be 6 skills assigned to lb/rb like wizards, but no, 3 it is.

This was the class I was most looking forward to so this is really lame.

I have way more than 3 skills to equip. My pawn is also a mage so I can just tab over to see how they have it to compare. It seems mighty dumb that you can't assign anything to LB.

Ok having put decent time into Fighter, Warrior, Assassin, and Mystic Knight, the Knight is the coolest class, if only on the virtue of sky dance.

Sky dance you rocket jump up into the air, then do a flying stinger at the enemy. and anyone near you(enemies) also gets launched up with you, it also can serve as a double jump.

Coolest moment I have had in this game so far was killing an enemy by jumping between rooftops and sky dance right into his face.

How's everyone else liking mystic knight though? I'm trying to like sky dance, but it's useless on ground targets from just about everytime I've used it. So really can't have it as a replacement for blink/burst strike. The other magic based sword skills are flat out useless, and hardly put out any real damage. I like the idea of the shield skills, but I don't know if I pop out perfect guards enough for them to be worthwhile.

Related question, what exactly does holy wall really do? I love it's visual effect, but how does it really enhance your guard?

I have put some time into every class now except sorcerer and Knight is my favourite class. Sky dance is something you need to feel out and get the hang of, its not as straightforward as the blink strike(I have taken blink strike off my bar in favour of sky dance). Once you get the hang of it it is really fun and versatile.

Also the magic skills for sword are quite good, I assume you dont have Vortex+ yet or you wouldn't be saying that.

Holy wall eats up proectiles to the range of its force field is my full best guess. I have seen it eat up fireballs without me actually blocking it but the wording is so vague I don't know if that is all that it does or not.

*ed*

Other great thing about the Knight is the fact you can use staves. It really gives you full coverage against all enemies in the game. I didn't think I would use it much at first but after I learned comestion it is a gamechanger. You get options against air based foes like harpies and the like, while having comestion devastate giant creatures.

Does Vortex+ work on bigger enemies then? Cause I tried to get the starter version working and it couldn't take in humans, and the range was pretty bad. I'm up for giving it another try if others say some of the upgraded versions are good then. Magick cannon seemed to lack any real oomph though, unless the upgraded version starts pelting out like 3 times the damage it didn't seem super useful at the time.

I assume you're just taking a staff with you as backup? I probably should have considered that, since it'd be easy to switch to for when I need a change.

Vortex works on everything that isn't a giant sized like ogres and cyclops.

Magick cannon kinda sucks, use staff for your long ranged abilities(Although upgraded version actually literally does 3x the damage, 3 hits instead of 1).

I use staff and mace fairly interchangeably, Mace for human foes sized foes, staff for fliers and the rest.

Also, something I just found out is that you don't use any stamina when you're directly on top of an enemy that you're climbing. In case anyone wasn't aware of that...

I missed her at the start too because I just went straight to the fort. I have never been able to do any quests involving her or the witch since, and I am sure I have missed quite a few quests due to that.

For those just starting the game make sure you do all the quests there before you move onwards to the fort, as you can permanently miss quests.

Knight augments are just about the worst ones in the game, but the class is still my favourite. Having your shield shoot fireballs and lasers at people while you sky dance everywhere simply can't be matched by the other classes.

Also for those that started NG+, do the harder enemies stay around when you start NG+, or is it all the derpy little weak ones again?

Also Stone forest(upgraded one) for the Knight, is just about the coolest giant killer move in the game if you can get it off. You just slam your sword into the ground and then you are the epicenter of a massive explosion.
