Mystic knight definitely gets to wear armor--at least the same armor as a fighter, with some unique pieces like magic shields.

My wife lost her purse earlier last week and we had to cancel the credit cards, and I forgot to change my information for my preorder. Went to go check its status this morning and finally got it fixed. It said it's still on track for release day shipping, at least. Hopefully I'll get to play some tonight. :ohdear:

As you take damage your max health drops until you restore it with rest or an item. Magic can only fill up the white area.

Yeah, part of Dark Souls was getting the right tool and many required some investment of levels to get access to. I can get behind that to an extent, especially since it seems that leveling is not a grind judging by Gyoru's stream.

That is sad. Do both triggers open your skill set or is one just useless?

I'm loving the game so far. This is probably the most fun I ever had playing a mage in a action WRPG. Unlike say, skyrim the spells look and feel powerful and you can actually use them as much as you want without having to watch mp/spell points.

You're thinking Fighter or strider. Warriors get exclusive access to two-handed swords and hammers.

I haven't seen any curved swords (well, I think there may be a katana in the game somewhere because I swear I saw one in an item list), but if you like off beat curved weapons you may want to play with some of the daggers in this game. They take the heads off polearms like a voulge or glaive and dual wield them. It's pretty cool.

So I have been looking at the augments for various classes, and some of them really intrigue me. I'm currently about to start grinding Magic Archer to Rank 9 because they get Regeneration, which sounds wonderful for my warrior! And after the levels he'll inevitably gain while doing that, he should be well insulated against magic. There's also the rank 9 strider augment Leg-Strength to reduce your weight category of purposes of movement speed (but how does that affect pawn that are already in the lowest category?)

God I wish they hadn't locked pawns out of the hybrid classes. I really want someone to be swinging around these awesome maces besides me.

I should hope so to considering my Pawn is the party tank and does rather well at holding aggro.

I just tend to hire a Mage for heals and spells and a 2nd Warrior to assist my tank, me as an Asassin just tends to charge around hitting stuff from behind or shooting arrows everywhere.

Also, Ogres are the best enemies, you can't hate their excited noises when they spot a woman.

Yeah, I'm building my pawn to be a tank. Right now she's a warrior so she can get abilities like bastion and clout before going back to her primary job. Either way the people renting her seem to be leaving her to die when she does her job, because she's not getting any ratings. I hope prefer to think they're just being jerks and abandoning her and not that she's a bad tank. :ohdear:
