It's on screen for less than a second, but written on the front of the box is a message from John Doe: To the world, from me. I recall an old Cracked article, which detailed some of the incredible detail the propmaster put into that film, it's worth a read to get an idea, but I did a bit of follow up reading on it because it's pretty creepy/cool.
