Early in Enchanted, Robert is visibly annoyed by Giselle's cartoonish antics, especially her tendency to sing on the spot. He even mentions that he doesn't sing at all. You can barely hear it, but in the middle of "So Close" When they're dancing and falling in love, Robert is quietly and inexpertly singing along to the song, learning how to be in a musical.
