So, new year, time of change. Anyone want to remake/update the OP? A bunch of games stopped receiving any pretense of support altogether, Blood Bowl got rereleased, some poo poo's appeared like the AoS dungeon crawler and a bunch of boxes I'm not really sure which are actually games and which are glorified "buy moaar minis" promo sets, and so on. And I've since discovered modern games and lost any will to go back to GW products so

I am amused that they won't remake epic because "titans, tanks, and infantry" are 40k already. Well yeah, but it's entirely the wrong scale and one of the worst things to happen to 40k was trying to shoehorn epic sized battles and armies into 25mm

Totally agree with that, but are they going to admit that Apocalypse is stupid and stop making super heavies? "More/bigger is better" seems to be a prevailing attitude among hams fans.

Gw's statement makes sense to me. If modern 40k is epic with bigger and more expensive minis why would you recreate the same thing and make less money on it? The real surprise is that they are admitting that they turned 40k into epic with bigger models.

 I got these in a lot a few years ago, whoever it was that sold them said they were Tyranid BFG pieces. I've never been able to identify them, anyone have any ideas?
