Question: I acquired renters insurance, but someone from the insurer came out and only photographed the exterior of the house I am renting, and did not come in and take photos of the what I'm actually paying to insure - my stuff. Is this some sort of sleazy tactic to allow them to get away with contesting items/screwing me if I make a claim? Should I call and demand they come take photos of my stuff? I don't still have receipts for all my electronics and furniture that are past warranty, and I haven't bought much since acquiring insurance.
